Impressive records to be tested at the Brother Martin Duals
Editor/December 6th, 2012

Five Louisiana wrestlers will put significant undefeated records on the line at Brother Martin Saturday when the Crusaders host Live Oak, St. Louis, Shaw and Teurlings Catholic in a dual meet format.  The results of some individual matches may figure highly in the seeding of January's Louisiana Classic.  Nine others have only lost to one other wrestler this season, or only to wrestlers outside of Louisiana.

Some of the more interesting matches to watch for are as follows:

126 lbs.: Brother Martin's Austin Meyn (9-4) was unseeded and won the Blackhorse Invitational in Tennessee last week.  Three of his four losses have been to wrestlers from Texas.  The other was to Ehret's Stefon Foster, which he avenged later that week.  Live Oak's defending Division II state champion Cody Hill is 19-2, with his losses coming from Catholic's Brennan Taylor, whom he has also beaten twice.  Hill also has a victory over Foster, as well as over defending Division I state champions Jacob Dale of Comeaux and Matt Calcote of Rummel.

160 lbs.: The Crusaders' Devin LeBlanc placed 4th in the Division I state-tournament last year and is 14-0 this year.  St. Louis' Louis Stutes is 13-0 and won the Division II state championship in 2012.  Both should also be challenged by Shaw's 2012 Division II runner-up Kody Woodson, who is 7-1, although his sole loss was to LeBlanc.

170 lbs.: Daniel Albrecht of Brother Martin is 13-2 and has only lost to wrestlers from Texas this year.  St. Louis' Conway LeBleu is 9-1, suffering his only loss back on November 3rd.

182 lbs.: Returning Division I state runner-up Kyle Delaune was a finalist at the Blackhorse Invitational and has a 14-1 record for Brother Martin.  Nick Schneider of Teurlings Catholic is a returning Division II state champion and posts a 6-1 record, with his only loss being in overtime to Lafayette's Michael Daiy.

Brother Martin also enters the competition protecting a perfect 6-0 dual meet record, including two wins over teams in Texas.  The schedule is as follows:
