John Curtis dominated a tri-meet Wednesday evening
against East Jefferson and Riverdale at the Riverdale
gymnasium in Jefferson, Louisiana. The Patriots scored
83 points to second place East Jefferson's 30 to take first
place. Riverdale placed third with 18 points.

East Jefferson and John Curtis travelled to Riverdale
Wednesday evening for the first tri-meet of the 2014-15
season in the Greater New Orleans area. As is common
with most smaller programs in November, a significant number
of forfeits accounted for the official team scores.
Fifteen matches, however, were wrestled: seven official ones
and eight exhibition ones.
Officially John Curtis won their two duals via scores of
42-30 over East Jefferson and 41-18 over Riverdale. In
the last meet of the evening East Jefferson defeated
Riverdale 42-24, although no official matches were contested.
As for official matches actually wrestled, John Curtis did fare the
best, winning four of the seven. They split their four
matches against East Jefferson, tying them 12-12 in official
match points. Against Riverdale the Patriots won two
matches and lost one, resulting in a score of 11-6.
