| Riverdale Rebels in search of a head coach |

Riverdale High School in Jefferson, LA, is
seeking a head wrestling coach for the 2015-16 season. Coach
Michael Savage, who has headed the Scottish Rebels wrestling program
since 2012 (and who was an assistant coach from 2008-11) will remain as
an assistant coach. Riverdale is located at 240 Riverdale Drive in Jefferson, Louisiana. The Rebels have twelve members eligible for the 2015-16 season per their 2014-15 TrackWrestling roster. Assistant principal Brenda Hubbard has authorized Coach Savage to head the search. He may be contacted at msavage@my.uno.edu. Non-faculty candidates will require a LHSAA Coaches Education and Certification Program Certificate. These certificates are obtained via NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching classes held by the National Federation of High Schools. Candidates should check with the LHSAA at (225) 296-5882 to verify which course they should take. |
