| Directions to John Ryan Stadium |

John Ryan Stadium, the intended site of the November 4th outdoor dual meet between Jesuit and St. Paul's, is located at 100 Blue Jay Way in Metairie, located off of Airline Drive just across the Orleans Parish-Jefferson Parish line. As the map below indicates, Blue Jay Way was once called "Cold Storage Road," a formerly very dangerous shortcut from Airline Drive to Jefferson Highway, not only from the monstrous potholes involved, but because of the dip below the railroad tracks. For years, after heavy rains, car tops could often be seen poking above the water due to drivers not knowing how deep the then water-filled dip was.
That problem has since been remedied. The only entrance to that area is L & A Road from Airline Highway, at which there is a traffic light. Once under the tracks on L & A Road Blue Jay Way is immediately visible, and should be followed to the stadium parking areas.
