Holy Cross won seven of nine matches, six via falls, in a 69-12 dual meet victory against Rummel on November 16th.  The Raiders' points came via falls by Chris Montalbano and Blake Mateu.  The Raiders probably could have scored 18 points had Josh Ramirez competed.  However, his likely opponent, Michael Benton, was unable to compete, and rather than place a freshman against the two-time defending state champion Ramirez, Rummel decided to forfeit that match.

The match, however, could be described as a "pinfest."¹ as only the 145 lbs. match between Brady Butler and Dylan Hezeau, went the full six minutes, which resulted in an 11-7 win by Butler.

Holy Cross' falls were recorded by Spencer Rayes, Cameron Drummond, Michael Lundin, Cole Clement, Robbie Butler and Joey Foret.

¹    The editor did not coin this word, but did give it a wrestling connotation as the term is usually used to describe a pinball tournament.
