The Gators of St. Amant High School won their third tournament in only eight days by taking the East Ascension Spartan Open title on November 21st, in Gonzales, LA.  Three days earlier, St. Amant triumphed at the Dutchtown Griffin Open.  A week earlier than that, on November 14th, they won the Central Wildcat Invitational.  In each of those events the runner-up trophies were claimed by the Spartans of East Ascension.

The Gators had one tournament champion, senior Hunter Hawkins  (160 lbs.), and three runners-up: Tyree Morris (113 lbs.), Corey Brownell (120 lbs.) and Joseph Cayagao (138 lbs.).

East Ascension, Live Oak and Fontainebleau had three champions each.   For the Spartans they were Trent Mahoney (138 lbs.), David Pellerin (145 lbs.) and Devon Clark (220 lbs.).  Live Oak's champions were Clayton Hill (120 lbs.) and the Ingram Brothers: Camdyn (152 lbs.) and Anthony (285 lbs.).  Fontainebleau's champions were Josh Fitzpatrick (126 lbs.), Tanner Melendrez (170 lbs.) and Adam Lampo (182 lbs.).

The Basile Bearcats' champions were Blake Menier (120 lbs.) and Gavin Christ (132 lbs.).  Bonnabel's Chad Baradell won at 106 lbs. and Gavin Bonilla (195 lbs.) won for the McKinley Lions.  Bonilla also won the Outstanding Wrestler award.

The St. Amant Gators won their third consecutive team championship by 18.5 points over host East Ascension	East Ascension, with three champions, place second
