After each team recieved two forfeits and eight head-to-head matches, victory in the dual meet came down to the winner of the last match at 285 lbs.  Even that match was close as Malik Smith of Bonnabel required all six minutes to defeat Belle Chasse's Ali Esmail 4-2.

For the Bruins, Fernando Mayorga, Yader Vindel and Christian Che scored falls.  Aside from Smith's match, only the 120 lbs. match went the full six minutes, resulting in Bonnabel's Sergio Maldonado's 12-9 win over a very game Francisco Castro of Belle Chasse.

Dorion Gross, Gabriel Triguero and Andrew Shifflin scored falls for the Cardinals.  In the only Cardinal win that went six minutes, Leo Savoie defeated Catarino Salazar 17-11.
