Small Louisiana team enters Fargo Junior Nationals |

A very small team of Louisiana wrestlers are headed toward the U.S.M.C. 2019 Junior Nation Championships in Fargo, North Dakota this week. The event will start with Greco-Roman tournaments for Cadet, Juniors and girls and end with freestyle tournaments for the same athletes. Four boys will represent Louisiana. The are two-time defending Division I state champion Trent Mahoney of East Ascension High School, 2018 Division II state champion Camdyn Ingram, formerly of Live Oak High School, Division I 2018 and 2019 runner-up Peyton Bass of Airline and 2019 Division II runner-up Jacob Ramirez of Rummel. C.E. Byrd's Kylie Davis will compete for Arkansas in the girls' events. Pat Mahoney of East Ascension will be one of the coaches attending. |

Camdyn Ingram was the second-ranked wrestler on the 2018 Cadet National Greco-Roman team at 152 pounds.

The freestyle events will start on Sunday, July 14th, and finish on Wednesday, July 17th. The Greco-Roman events (boys only) start on Wednesday, July 17th and end on Friday, July 19th.
