In an early Division II dual meet Archbishop Shaw won six of eight contested matches to defeat NOMMA 54-18.  The 2019-20 Eagles have a legitimate shot at the runner-up spot in Division II with the departure of Parkway and Live Oak to Division I this year.  The event was held on Wednesday, November 6th, at Shaw.

Raheem Bonnet, a runner-up in the 2019 LHSAA State Wrestling Championships, Camden Stahl, Todd Ritter, Armando Amaya and Jude Monaco scored falls for the Eagles, and Michael Seal added a 10-0 major decision.  Zachary Hrarbar and Bryan Leite scored falls for the Bulldogs.  Shaw's 2019 state champion Glenn Price and three of his teammates won via forfeits.  Edder Gomez received a forfeit for NOMMA.  The 220-pounds weight class was forfeited by both teams.
