Catholic coach Ben Dipalma has released the seeding for the Louisiana Classic.  The seeds are as follows:

Editor's notes:  First, I have no doubt the seeding committee followed a good set of criteria during the seeding process.  These "Notes" are mainly just what the editor would have liked to see.

Additionally, the editor is saddened that Basile is not participating and neither are Byrd's Demetri Teddie and Jacob Yawn, nor Teurlings Catholic's David Bernard or Carencro's Latrell Williams (Williams may be there but may not have had enough matches to be seeded).  Mason Massicot is letting his leg heal fully before STATE, which is smart.  After all, he already has one Louisiana Classic title.

106: Nothing says Mr. Perry is not a good #1 pick.  However, I think Houser and Elsensohn have better resumes re Louisiana opponents at least.  Perry-Elsensohn would have been a semifinal that would truly test Mr. Perry. 

120: Houston Westside's Christian Lopez has a fine record with three tournament wins and a 6-2 win over Sarpy from early December.  It has five losses on it also, though, so I cannot tell why Lopez is seeded over Keeler. 

That's all I have as far as a stimulating analysis of the 2020 Louisiana Classic seeds go.

There are 112 seeding spots.  I failed to pick 19 of them, and 22 other spots I did pick were for wrestlers or teams who are not participating. so I made 71 picks.  Based on the rules state above the table, I was "Dead-on" with 44 of them - that's 62%.  I was one off on 11 picks - that's 15%.  I was within two spots with nine of them - that's 13%.  I was way off with seven of them - that's 10%.  I'll take it.  Come Saturday evening we can see how I fared vs. the seeding committee, adjusting the seeding committee picks to reflect the number I made to make things fair.

I hope this was as scintillating for the NOBODY who actually looked at this tripe as it was for me to analyze it!
