WE ARE ADAPTIVE WRESTLING-SPECIFIC MEDIA

The inaugural season of live-streamed Louisiana wrestling events on the Varsity Sports Now network (VSN) will begin with a 2022-23 Season Preview show on Tuesday, November 15th, 2022.   VSN will stream choice dual meets and tournaments finals (and some semifinals) as well as a 2022-23 Season Preview and 2023 State Championships shows. 

Hosting and providing color commentary will be Coach Robert Dauterive, Jr., who guided the Brother Martin Crusaders to 10 Division I state championships.  Joining Dauterive for Greater Baton Rouge area events with "move-by-move" narrative (there is no "play by play" in wrestling) will be Catholic High School athletic director and long-time Bears assistant coach Ben Dipalma, a 2000 Lee High Invitational (Louisiana Classic) champion and Division I runner-up for Catholic.  Greater New Orleans area events narrative will be provided by Rummel 2005 Division I runner-up and Louisiana USA Wrestling board member Chad Ravannack.

The program is designed to build and promote wrestling programs in Louisiana.  Each broadcast will feature event introductions and stories, post-match interviews and a Coaches Tip of the Week.
