Brennan Boyer became the second Teurlings Catholic champion after a tough 8-5 win over Holy Cross' Nick Sauerwin.  Boyer advanced to the finals with a tougher 11-9 win over Shaw's Hayden Tassin, and Sauerwin did so by defeating East Ascension's Lucas Maneckshaw, the champion of he Warrior Open a week earlier, 12-4 MD.  The editor saw the Maneckshaw-Sauerwin match, obviously (due to the photographs), but he was  2+2=grapefruit as far as telling what the Spartan twins were doing at this event.  Sauerwin was a scoring machine until the finals.  Prior to the 12-4 MD match he won 22-7 TF.
