OK, in this weight class the editor knew of Rummel's Neil Borne, if only because
he wrote earlier that Borne did not have the 2022 state championship tournament
he would have preferred. Peyton Miller rings a bell, but not one
indicating there are "barbarians at the gate." Maybe it should.
Maybe Antwon Parks' name should as well. A Holy Cross sophomore, Parks was
11-6 last season, but has reached the finals of his last two tournaments
(including today's Griffin Open). He needs to stop running into Miller,
though. Miller pinned him in 0:46 in this event and in 1:15 at the
Griffin. His biggest, and hardest, no doubt, win was his 8-7 TB1 win over
Borne in the semifinals, setting up his finals match with Miller.
