As great a season as Mr. Simoneaux had until this point, he did have two losses.  One was an 11-6 decision by St. Paul's Landry Barker.  Those two would not meet again.  The other was a 9-8 decision against East Ascension's Gabriel Bonin.  That outranked the fact that Simoneaux placed third at the LACL to Bonin's fifth and that Bonin had lost to North Desoto's Hunter Addison whereas Simoneaux had beaten Addison twice.  The top two seeds both cruised into the semifinals in which each met a Brusly Panther.  Bonin defeated #5 Chris Miller 12-1 MD while Simoneaux defeated #3 Silas Robichaux 11-1 MD.  The finals match was that close also, as it was tied 2-2 after the first six minutes.  The difference was that Simoneaux scored a takedown in the first period while Bonin's two points came via penalties in the third period.  They were both pretty whipped come the Sudden Victory period, but it was Simoneaux again who scored the offensive points via a takedown with eight second remaining for a 4-2 SV win.

Robichaux and Miller found themselves in the consolation finals and decided to share third-place honors rather than one of them walking out on a losing note.  John Curtis' fourth seed Aden Laborde defeated sixth-seeded Jason Brown of Shaw 6-4 in another Sudden Victory match.
