Lafayette has a 35 point lead over Mandeville, Holy Cross has a 28.5 lead over Brother Martin and Basile has a 32.5 lead over John Curtis with only the finals remaining. 5 p.m.  The Lady Lions of the Girls Division, the Tigers of Division I and the Division III Bearcats can start making room on the bus for Brother Melchior trophies.  That is not the case in Division II where St. Thomas More holds a tenuous 1.5 lead over North Desoto.  That is a division where the finals will play a huge part.

Vying for the Division II team championship are St. Thomas More and North Desoto.  The Cougars have seven finalists but only two of them are favored to win their finals matches.  The Griffin have only six finalists but are favored in four of them.  St. Thomas More will need a couple of upsets from the non-Cougar wrestlers facing a North Desoto wrestler.
