Finalists: Will Diamond (Pace) vs. Brandon
Johnson (Lincoln)

The 182 pound finalists had little in common
physically. A very stout Will Diamond of Pace was matched against
a lean and lithe Brandon Johnson of Lincoln. Points, or the lack
thereof, was the common denominator between the two wrestlers. At
the start of the third period neither wrestler had scored one.
Finally, nineteen seconds into the period, Diamond scored an escape.
With just over 50 seconds Diamond scored again due to a stalling call
against Johnson. Diamond managed another takedown later in the
match a recorded a 4-2 victory. |
