Best Trained of Texas defeated Oklahoma's Westmoore 52-25 in the finals.  The Texas kids won 10 of the 15 matches and scored seven falls.  Westmoore won four matches, two via falls and one via a major decision, and received one forfeit.  Jay Stahl, at 182 lbs., sealed the match via a fall in 0:54 which gave Best Trained an insurmountable 39-25 lead with only two matches remaining.

[RIGHT]  Kelby Bernard's father, Glenn, the coach of the Lafayette Scrappers Wrestling Club and and assistant coach at Comeaux High School, watches his son Kelby compete for the Best Trained team at 113 lbs.  Kelby, as a freshman, was a Texas UIL 6A state runner-up in 2022.

Best Trained wrestlers are wearing the yellow Jazz Town Duals "Finalist" singlets.  Westmoore's "Finalist" singlets are black.

Despite that it lasted 54 seconds, no photographs were taken of this match.  Sometimes that is a results of the wrestlers facing only their posteriors to the camera, but this was more likely due to a behemoth of a young man who, despite knowing full well where the camera was, could not process the photograph taking process re the line between the subject and the lens.
