The senior Zea was flawless against his sophomore opponent, only allowing two free escape points while scoring four takedowns, an escape and five nearfall points off of cross-body rides between a barrage of cross-faces to win his second tournament championship via a major decision. | |||||||||||

Seeding Implications: Brody Martin of Jesuit would have to be considered the top seed at the moment due to his 4-1 victory over Zea in the Mandeville Open finals. Zea should be second, followed by Luke Cotton of Brother Martin (due to a loss to Jesuit's Adam Larriviere at Dutchtown and Larriviere's earlier loss to Martin at the Warrior Open). Rummel's Blake Mateau has a chance of breaking into that group at the South Walton Border Wars on December 5th and 6th at which Jesuit and Rummel will participate.
