Finals

Nicholas Cashio (Catholic) defeated Nick Simoneaux (Live Oak) 9-4
The two were scoreless until about thirty seconds remained when Cashio, after sprawling on a Simoneaux single-leg shot, spun behind his opponent for two takedown points.  Simoneaux was able to score and escape and the round ended 2-1 in Cashio's favor.  On the bottom to start the second period Cashio reversed Simoneaux straight to his back to tack on five more points.  Simeneaux got out of that predicament and scored an escape before the round ended with Cashio ahead 7-2.  Simoneaux started the third period on the bottom and fairly quickly scored an escape.  Cashio tried to Bear hug Simoneaux, who in turn tried to throw Cashio, but he slipped and Cashio scored another two points.  Simoneaux would escape one more time and the match ended 9-4.

Seeding Implications: At the moment Catholic's Nic Cashio is the one to beat as he is 11-0 and has won titles at the Wildcat, Griffin and Spartan Opens.  Donald Johnson of Brusly had lost two one-point decisions to Cashio and gets the second spot.  Live Oak's Nick Simoneaux get the nod for third over Lafayette's Rodrigo Diaz.
