Alabama's Vestavia Hills High School of Alabama held the lead with 140
points after Friday's action at the 2014 South Walton Border Wars in
Destin, Florida. Right behind them was Springstead, Florida, with
138.5 points, Lake Highland Prep., Florida, with 128 points,
Jesuit with 125.5 points and
Rummel with 104
points.
St. Paul's of Covington was in eighth
place with 90 points.
Saturday's competition consists of eight-man championship brackets
comprised of the top two pool placers from Friday. The wrestlers who
went undefeated in their pools are guaranteed a #1-#4 seeding place.
Jesuit has nine wrestlers in the championship tournament. Rummel has
eight and St. Paul's has seven.
